Growing up, like most kids I had a little point and shoot camera(a hand me down from my sister). Taking shots mostly of my favourite ponies and much loved pets.
Photography became an important part of my life with the birth of my children, Jasmin first then the twins Zena and Barton. As a mother I wanted to capture each passing moment, to have as a visual story of their life's journey.
By then the old point and shoot had been replaced with a 35mm Minolta camera. During those early times I had some triumphs and some disappointments with my photography. Fortunately there had been enough of the good shots to inspire me, and I have pursued my passion for photography ever since.
It seems the blink of an eye, but here I am today with the next generation on the way. I'm so glad to have those early captured moments, a "frame" of memories to pass on.

Since I was a kid, Iv always loved horses. Owning, riding and working with them over the years it just seemed natural to put horses and photography together.
To me there is something magical about them, a certain beauty that is uniquely theirs. I find the graceful power in their movement, the wild kindness in their eye and the bold willingness in their hearts, qualities that as a photographer I want to capture in my images.
Portraying the special relationship you have with your horse is another aspect of equine photography that I find very rewarding. Wether you want to have a quiet and sensitive shoot or a fun and yahoo one, I'm sure we will have a good time.
